While showing Laura Boushnak some of my work the other day, she made me realize something: whatever I "worked on" with the intention of building a portfolio or whatever was part of an "actual story" isn't as strong as my pictures from everyday-life-without-the-intention-of-making-a-story-out-of-that-I-eventually-made-a-story-out-of. — in Sarajevo.

Amer and I will be working closely with my student. I can't wait to see what they end up producing.

Every night we go out and eat yummy bistek tacos and party with all the other photographers. There are more than 100 people here. My instructor is Guy Calaf, who is guiding us with out stories. I think I'm doing a story on Muslims in Mexico. Let's see how that goes.
